Full description
Escape the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik on this full-day private tour of the small towns and cities of Pocitelj, Medjugorje, and Mostar in Bosnia and Herzogovina. Departing via Dubrovnik Bridge - stopping to take panoramic photos - drive along the Adriatic coast to Neum, the only coastal town in Bosnia and Herzogovina, and stop for morning coffee. Continue through the picturesque River Neretva delta to the small town of Pocitelj, one of the most beautiful settlements of the 15th century. Still remarkably intact, enjoy time shopping or wandering the hilly streets, before driving on to Medjugorje. Medjugorje is one of the most famous pilgrim sites in the Catholic world after a controversial apparition of Our Lady of Peace in 1981. Explore at your own pace, and experience the town’s spiritual ambiance. The last stop is the historic city of Mostar. A meeting point of cultures and religions for centuries, Mostar is one of the most important towns in the Herzegovina region. Discover the symbol of the city at the Ottoman era Old Bridge. It stood for 427 years until it was bombed during the Balkan Wars, and has now been lovingly restored to become one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans. You will also visit the Mosque of Mostar, and admire traditional Ottoman architecture. Wander the atmospheric old streets, and experience the town’s bohemian and artistic atmosphere.

Our guide Dena was really helpful and an interesting teller, we enjoyed the time with her and received a lot of information. Medugorje does have some spirit, but you do have to mind the pickpocketing - we had an unpleasant small incident. Mostar is really beautiful - the old bridge, stone small streets, Mostar Ikari - people, who professionally jump in the 6-7 degrees Celsius water in Neretva river from the high bridge - became one of the attractions and definitely can not be missed. The tour itself is quite long - up to 10 hours even though we were a bit tired and decided not to stop in Pociteji. In general, the Tour is good and worth recommending.

Trip to Medugorje

The trip was wonderfully prepared, the guide-driver was very punctual, polite, cultural, elegantly dressed, with a good command of English. He came from around Medugorie and knew the area well. He drove the car carefully and calmly. He told interesting and interesting. The car is clean and fragrant. We are very pleased! I would recommend!

Amazing experience

I don't normally give a comment or recommendation but I make exception to this one. When I came to Croatia Im totally don't have an idea about the place. It's my wife idea to go Medjogorie to pray. The driver as guide to the tour we have, greet us warmly and he very courteous and pleasant. He is so informative and gave us a lot of story of this history-rich places in Dubrobnik and Mostar. We enjoyed eating in restaurant, buy some lovely wine in Mostar, did some stop to taste some fruits at stalls along the road. We bought watermelon but forgot take it. But Igor (tour guide) came to give the watermelon as my wife love it. Believe me, the whole day was fun and highly recommend to you to try. I would like to thank Igor for making our experience as memorable one.
