Full description

Leave bustling Dubrovnik behind to visit the iconic towns of Pocitelj, Medjugorje, and Mostar on a bus tour. Walk through Mostar's charming cobblestone alleyways with a local guide, learning about its rich history. Discover the other towns at your own pace, taking in the sights as you please.

First, head from Dubrovnik to the town of Neum, where you can shake your legs with a shopping break or for a morning coffee. Then, continue through the picturesque delta of the River Neretva to the small town of Pocitelj.

In Pocitelj, enjoy free time to discover this charming town at your own pace. Pocitelj is a beautiful cultural and historical site featuring structures from the 15th century.

Then, continue to Medjugorje and enjoy more time for sightseeing. A spiritual and religious site, this town is one of the most famous pilgrim destinations in the Catholic world. Since the apparition of Our Lady of Peace in 1981, it has been visited by pilgrims and tourists from all over the world.

Continue to Mostar for a guided walking tour of this picturesque town. Through the centuries, Mostar became the meeting point of various cultures and religions. During your tour, see the imprints left behind by its varied and rich history.

Besides the Old Bridge — the symbol of the town — visit the Mosque of Mostar, a Turkish house, and more.

In the afternoon, sit back and relax on your bus journey back to Dubrovnik.

Good communication and punctuality when coordinating our pickup. Marko, our driver, was professional and friendly. At Mostar site we encountered our first guide, who wasn't as expected, poor performance. The second guide was ways better (although I cannot remember his name, he was the boss of Mostar's museum). Mostar was incredible. The other city has only a religious attractive.

Our guide Ivan (I am a little unsure if he was also called something else) did a great job. We were only 7 people in a small van which was great. Ivan who was born in Bosnia and had lived in Croatia and experienced the war himself told the history well and I learned so much from him. Also there was a lot of driving but because of the stories no problem. Such a great experience and both Medjugorge and Mostar were interesting places. Definitely worth the time. Great day! Thank you!!

This is a great way to learn about Bosnia and the Muslim culture there. The old city is very beautiful and there are many restaurants in sites to see. The war in 1991 impacted the population however they are trying to Move on and live their life to the fullest today.
