Full description
This tour takes you on a discovery of the beauty of Montenegro. As an independent country, it has made a name for itself in its own way. Experience a natural and authentic country with a fascinating landscape and many charming towns, including Kotor and Budva. After pick-up at your accommodation, you will head along the Bay of Kotor through several small fishing locations. From Kamenari, take the ferry to the other side of the canal. After a leisurely journey through the town of Tivat, taking in Montenegro's beautiful nature, continue to Budva. At 3,500 years old, it is believed that Budva is the oldest town on the Adriatic Sea. Originally on an island, Budva is now connected to the mainland by a sandbank. You have around 2 hours to explore the old town with its many narrow streets and small churches. Continue on toward Kotor, where you have 2.5 hours of free time. The old town of Kotor is a beautiful, well-preserved center from the Middle Ages, built between the 12th and 14th centuries. There you will find numerous Roman and Gothic churches, facades, palaces and museums as well as many restaurants and cafes, which you can visit as you wish.

    It couldn't be better!

The day trip took place in a small group of 10 people, as described on the Get Your Guide website. The organization was very good. Kotor and Budva in wonderful weather - with enough time for sightseeing (we had over an hour to visit Budva). The boat trip from Perast to the 'church island' is also very varied. The view of the Bay of Kotor is fantastic! We were picked up directly from our accommodation in Dubrovnic / city at 8:00 a.m. and brought to the starting point of the day trip to Cevtat. The bus tour started at 8:30 a.m. We were back in Dubrovnik around 6 p.m.

    A nice trip to Montenegro

The booking process went smoothly and the pick-up at the accommodation was on time. The driver Georg told a lot about the country and its people. A perfect excursion for everyone who would like to have some time for their own activities on site. All in all, the day passed quite varied and very quickly. The really beautiful nature around Kotor is particularly impressive.
