Full description
Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with a limited number of passengers, up to 8 per vehicle, to ensure a personalized experience. Your driver will tell you about the history of the city, as you experience the best views. Start the tour by visiting the top of the hill above the Old Town, from where you will see the so-called postcard view of Dubrovnik. Get a fantastic view of the Old Town through to the Old Port.  Drive to the Ombla River, which some claim to be the shortest river in the world. The Ombla is used as a source of drinking water for the city of Dubrovnik. Refresh yourself by filling up your bottles straight from the source. Visit the Franjo Tuđman Bridge – a 518 meter-long bridge constructed in 2002. From the bridge, enjoy a great view of the new, urban area of Dubrovnik, including the Gruž harbour. While driving, see parts of the city where scenes from the popular TV show Game of Thrones were filmed.

Despite the guise Robert and us being unable to initially find each other ( directions could be updated ) we had a fabulous tour . Robert was amazing , very attentive and incredibly knowledgable and wanted to make sure we had the best trip we could. He lengthened the trip duration to enable us to view the most incredible sunset above Dubrovnik and even dropped us off at our hotel instead of the original pick up place to save my weary feet . This trip was made by Robert because of his level of information and interest . Such good value for money when the cable car on its own almost costs as much as this full trip and all you do is go up and down Mount Srd - we saw more than we would have done with the cable car and learned all the history too . Fantastic

We booked this quite short notice as our other trip had been cancelled since it was off-peak. I’m so glad it worked out this way as this tour was absolutely brilliant! Mario picked us up from outside the old town gates and even though it was just me and my partner he didn’t cancel the tour. We started the tour by heading to the bridge but on the way Mario was telling us about the history of Croatia and Yugoslavia, he was very passionate and knowledgeable about the topic and answered any questions we asked. After he kindly took photos of us on the bridge we drove to the river which is the water source of Dubrovnik and said to be the shortest river in the world. The scenery here was stunning with the river and mountains and Mario was telling us about the earthquakes. We drove upto the mountain where Mario took some more photos of us at the ‘postcard view’ of the old town and let us take in the views for 15 minutes. Throughout the tour Mario was absolutely brilliant and I recommend to all

Our host was engaging and entertaining. Although he arrived late (owing to the busy traffic conditions ), the tour still went the full length and longer, and was not rushed . The stops were awesome and each of the highlights is well worth a visit. By traveling in a smaller group and van, you have more time to enjoy the sights, and it’s definitely less stressful than doing this all on your own.
