Full description
Rich in cultural monuments, Dubrovnik is the one of the most beautiful and best preserved medieval towns of the Mediterranean. Get an insider's view of the Old Town on this 1.5-hour walking tour. Meet your guide at Pile Gate, then stroll around the narrow streets of Old Town Dubrovnik to experience the history and culture of this magnificent walled city. Your local guide will show you the city's finest sights and all the splendid buildings of Old Town will be viewed along the way. In front of the Pile Gate entrance, you'll see the circular Onofrio's Fountain, which is connected by aqueduct to a spring 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) outside the town. Then see the Franciscan Monastery, containing a restored sculpture of the Pieta and a gorgeous cloister dating back to the 14th century. Continue walking to Dubrovnik's Renaissance highlight, the Sponza Palace. Other highlights on this tour include Orlando's Column, the City Bell Tower, the Rector's Palace, and the Church of St Blaise.

I had a great walking tour with Danjela from EuroAdria tours, since it was off season it was only me and I got a really great overview of the town and the sights and she was answered all my questions and was very friendly and helpful. Great start to my trip!

Met by a very charming young lady guide, on time and at the place we arranged. The guide was a local, very knowledgeable, and took us to some of her favourite spots away from the throngs of tourists, as well as ALL the best known and biggest locations of the city. She was able to answer questions with ease and we were very happy indeed. Highly recommended.

Our guide spoke excellent English and answered all our questions about history and present day Croatia. She oriented us to the Old Town, pointing out places of interest that we could later visit on our own. It was much cheaper and more pleasant that taking a large group tour. We will use this company in the future in other places.
