Climb aboard an atmospheric bus that has been specially built and kitted out by one of Ireland's leading set design companies. Join professional actors who will not just serve as your ghoulish guides, but double as creepy, charming characters from Dublin's hellish past! Learn how the plague ravaged the city from a ghost from the past who is all too familiar with the disease. Hear of gruesome, agonizing tortures, and meet many characters with tales of terror to tell. Laugh and scream your way around the city, and - if you're lucky - leave with your soul intact! Enjoy a ghoulish brew at the Gravedigger's Pub, known for serving the best pint of Guinness in Ireland.
Good tour, great actors and met some nice people! Would recommend, and the pub is also great! Must do!
Make your way through church graveyards and down narrow back alleys to discover a side of Dublin that you won't find on any postcards. Hear gruesome stories of brothels run by serial killers, cannibals with a taste for young children, and the notorious Hellfire Club, said to be made up of Devil worshippers! Journey through the folklore of Ireland and get introduced to fairies, banshees, and leprechauns. Hear how Halloween originated from the Gaelic harvest festival of Samhain when, according to legend, beings from the spiritual world could cross dimensions more easily. Admire the stunning architecture of ancient buildings such as Dublin Castle, said to be haunted with the souls of beheaded invaders. Learn about the young boy who is said to stroll around the Olympia Theatre, and get a closer look at the spooky mummies on display at St Michan's Church.
Very informative tour with a very engaging tour guide. 10/10 would definitely recommend
Travel back in time with an expert tour guide who will show you the ghoulish delights of Dublin, and provide you with an in-depth knowledge of the city’s spooky sites. The 2-hour Gravedigger Ghost Bus tour starts at Trinity College, former site of the old Augustinian Priory and plague house. You will be taken to the gate at the back of St. Audeons Catholic Church, better described as “the Hell” and known for hauntings by restless lepers. Continue to Kilmainham Jail, which was involved in some of the most tragic events in Irish History. Stop at Bully’s Acre and explore a graveyard that dates back 1,000 years and is said to contain hundreds of thousands of corpses, among them victims of famous body snatchers. En route you will pass Croppies Acre and St. Michans Church, before arriving at Prospect Square and The Gravediggers Pub, where you will get to enjoy your free Ghoulish Brew – if yo...
The tour was good for what it was: a theatrical experience. I had actually wanted to book the proper ghost tour which has more normal historic commentary, and where you get off and explore certain sites, but it was fully booked. This bus stopped only three times and we simply climbed down and stood around listening to a story being told at a particular spot, which we didn't enter. The fact that it was freezing didnt help.
Explore the Dublin buried beneath your feet, a Dublin of English invaders, run with an iron fist by the Catholic Church and built by the Vikings. Uncover their stories by playing a quest with your friends, significant other, or family. Each clue will lead you from one place to another, giving you exact directions, so you won't need a map, a GPS, or a guide. When you solve it and guess the answer, the secret story of that place is unlocked. After you book the quest, you’ll receive your access code by email to be used in the app. The tour will take you up to two hours to complete, but there’s no time limit, so go at your own pace. You won't need a guide, just download the app, go to the starting point and be ready to begin the adventure. If you are a large group, one person can purchase access for the entire group by selecting the number of people in the group. All group members will be...
Fun and enjoyable and interactive, visited parts of Dublin we wouldn't usually see. Ideal for kids.
With its vast and turbulent history, it is not surprising that Dublin is one of the most haunted cities in the world. Beware! Those of a nervous disposition may be left feeling just a little bit spooked! You will discover the site of Saint Mary’s Abbey; one of the most powerful Irish monastic settlements in medieval times, and now just a small ruin down an alleyway, passed by thousands of oblivious commuters every day. If you are feeling brave enough, we will take a walk down Hendrick Street, once the site of two of the most haunted houses in Dublin. Between number 7 and 8 Hendrick Street lived no fewer than 6 different ghosts. You might want to steel your nerves before venturing with us to Croppie’s Acre. This long-abandoned site was used as a football pitch in the 20th century, but underneath is a mass grave – the final resting place of hundreds of rebels executed in the 1798 rebell...
We loved how this tour points out interesting locations not listed in the average guide books which we hope to explore further before heading home. We've done ghost tours in other cities as well, they have all been a extra special addition to the typical tourist locations.
Looking for a spookily thrilling adventure? You've come to the right place! On this 2-hour walking tour of Dublin, you will see that while most of Dublin’s grisly past has been left behind, not every character has decided to pass over into the next world. The Emerald Isle is known as being one of the most haunted countries on the planet, with many of the world's most famous supernatural characters and stories finding their roots in the city's collective lore. Each wave of human culture from the Celts to the Protestant ascendancy has left a mark on the city's haunted history, and it is this diversity which makes Dublin’s other-worldly folklore so fascinating. Today, you'll be led through the eerie, cobblestoned streets as we hear tales from the underbelly of this city. These include the burning of 18th century madam Darkey "The Witch" Kelly, the tragic tale of The Green Lady of St. Audo...
The tour was really interesting. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told the stories well. I would highly recommend this near the beginning of your trip to get an insight into Dublin.

This tour was absolutely awesome! Ann was super nice, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. The weather was pretty bad when we did this tour, but Ann was so positive and was making us smile. The highlights of the tour were not at all ruined by the rain. If anything, I'm incredibly thankful we booked this "skip-the-line" tour because the line for Guinness Storehouse was INSANE. People had to wait outside in a storm while we just cruised passed them to go in. 100% worth it!!
I had a nice tour with Neil round the castle and in the garden and got a lot of information about the history of the castle and about Irish history as well, later he led me in the surroundings and told interesting facts about Dublin. I was a lucky one to be a single person in that tour, so the tour was just like private one. I am greatly thankful to my guide, he has knowledge and know how to share it with the customers.
Brilliant afternoon out. Our guide was a local guy named mark, and his dog missy. He was great company, as were the other guests we met. Great food, great beer, great tour, great location. Proper value for money
My friend and I live in Dublin and I got this as a birthday present for her. We were very surprised with how well organised it was and how much fun we had.
