Board the comfortable and climate-controlled bus in Dublin and begin your day trip. Relax on the drive to Kilkenny past sparkling lakes, dense forests and babbling brooks.

Arrive in Kilkenny and enjoy free time to shop for traditional Irish crafts like unique knitwear, pottery and glass. Spend your time strolling through quaint streets or popping into a local pub for a delicious Kilkenny beer.

Continue to the monastic city of St. Kevin at Glendalough, best known for the wedding scenes in the blockbuster movie “Braveheart” and famous as the location for the film “PS I Love You.”

Head to the megalithic portal tomb of Brownshill Dolmen to uncover how ancient Irish ancestors buried their dead and celebrated their passage into the next world. Return to your meeting point in Dublin at the end of your day trip.

We been waiting in front of Dublin office which been closed, uckily we spotted some bus stopping in front of Molly Malone statue. Driver was kind but sarcastic sometimes at least to me (I’m totally fine with it and I have fun - but I believe someone wouldn’t be). We been on time all the way. There was amazing places where we been staying. I thought we have had some tickets included for some entrance but nothing like that just Kilkenny, Glendalough and bonus Guinness lake. Bus isn’t that comfortable as I expected, small space for Legs :/ - We enjoyed, we had fun and most important we are taking very nice memories out of this field trip.

It was a good day out. However I would have preferred to stay longer at the mountains. The driver-guide Cian (I think it was spelled like that) was friendly and interesting and he solved brilliantly an issue we had with the bus at the end of our trip when we were heading in to Dublin city.

Our tour guide/driver Alex was great! We got quite a late start (45 mins or so) due to a major accident causing terrible traffic, but we were still able to see everything we had hoped to and Alex was a wonderful guide who didn't let the unexpected traffic throw him off. We thoroughly enjoyed both tours we've taken with Paddywagon.
