Journey through the folklore of Ireland and get introduced to fairies, banshees, and leprechauns. Hear how Halloween originated from the Gaelic harvest festival of Samhain when, according to legend, beings from the spiritual world could cross dimensions more easily. We could not have had a better guide; Stephen. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He had great icebreakers that made everyone feel comfortable and a few self-aware yet humorous rambles. 4-stars only because there were kids that were obviously bored by the “mature” activity and were running and screaming that we sometimes couldn’t hear all the commentary. But the guide was very patient and accommodating. I get that families go on vacation and can’t leave their kids but the parents couldn’t fully enjoy the activity either so maybe if there was a minimum age limit, it could have been a tad more enjoyable.

Such a good tour! Our tour guide was fully of personality and was very into to the stories he told us, which always makes a tour like this better. All the the stories were great, with a bit of humor and plenty of macabre. If you’re looking for a tour that will teach you about some of the more unusual and niche parts of Dublin’s history, this is the tour for you!

They leave right on time so make sure to be there a little early (we made the mistake of getting there late and having to chase them down). The tour was great, it was less about ghosts and more about the dark history of Dublin but we heard some great stories.
