Full description
Learn the history of Dublin and its historic monuments with an Italian-speaking guide. Explore the early days when St. Patrick arrived to evangelize to the pagans, up to life in the city in the present day. Start at Trinity College and learn the legend of Molly Malone before walking to Dublin Castle, where the British controlled Ireland up to the signing of the Anglo-Irish Treaty in 1921. Marvel at the impressive facades of St. Patrick's Cathedral and Christ Church Cathedral before going to the popular entertainment district of Temple Bar. Cross the Liffey Bridge – known locally as the Ha'penny Bridge – to discover some of the most significant spots from the history of Ireland on the north side of the river, including the General Post Office, one of the last Georgian buildings built in the capital. Get insider tips, such as where to eat a tasty Irish stew, listen to live music or find the best pubs along the way. End at the Spire of Dublin monument on O'Connell Street.

For those who want to get to know the city, I highly recommend the experience of visiting the city on foot. The city center is not particularly large and a 3-hour walking tour is enough for a first acquaintance. We were guided by Giulio who proved to be a good connoisseur of the history of the city and also delighted us with smaller anecdotes.

La nostro guida Michela è stata fantastica. Siamo andati a molti posti della città. In ogni luogo abbiamo ricevuto eccellenti informazioni sulla storia. Michela era molto ben informata e ci ha fornito molti fatti interessanti spesso in modo umoristico. Il nostro gruppo era composto da 2 italiani e 3 inglesi e ci siamo divertiti tutti immensamente Fantastic tour, knowledgeable guide, enjoyed by all!

Beautiful walking tour to get a smattering of Dublin, the most interesting places to visit, the customs of the inhabitants and the history of Ireland. The guide Michela was great! Very precise explanations, but also light and fun! We were lucky enough to do the tour in a small group… in this way we also had a lot of time to ask questions and to talk about curiosities! We really appreciated that after the tour the guide sent us a message again with the recommended restaurants that were talked about during the tour..what more could you ask for !?
