Depart central Inverness and journey to the world-famous Loch Ness, where you will join a 1-hour cruise to Urquhart Castle. You'll have time to explore the 13th-century ruins on foot as part of this tour. Afterward, enjoy lunch in one of the charming local cafés in Beauly and explore Beauly Priory, used in the film Outlander. Next, stop at an ancient pine forest to see waterfalls. Visit a Highland whisky distillery, and join an optional tour to learn about whisky production and sample a wee dram. Listen to tales of the Jacobite rebellions and the brutal Battle of Culloden, on a visit to Culloden Battlefield.
