Full description
Learn about Dresden and its main attractions on a walking tour with a difference. Benefit from the services of an English-speaking guide who will bring the city to life through story-telling. Start at the River Elbe, where the city began, and then wind your way through the Theaterplatz, dominated by the imposing Semperoper opera house. See the curves of the Zwinger palace and hear about the ambitious ruler that created it. Learn the tragic story of the woman the Taschenberg Palais Hotel was built for, and continue through the open spaces of the reconstructed castle. Follow in the footsteps of dukes to reach the Royal Stables and imposing Frauenkirche. Visit a police headquarters with a dark history and learn why the New Synagogue was built with outer walls that are slightly uneven. End with an amazing view from Brühl's Terrace - time permitting - and hear about the man who rose from being a pageboy to a prime minister.

Fantastic and FUN!

A big thank you to Seema for making our first visit to Dresden unforgettable. We enjoyed the stories and secrets of the city and our teenager daughter was attentive to all the details.
