Explore Dresden and the surrounding area in a unique way on a scavenger hunt playing the City Game Seductive Dresden. The City Game Box contains 11 sealed and numbered envelopes with small puzzles that need to be solved. Guided by clear directions, make your way to Pillnitz by bike. Solve the puzzles and let the clues lead you to your next destination. Each solved puzzle will yield a number that will tell you which envelope to open next. You will not know in advance what order the scavenger hunt city envelopes need to be opened. The envelopes will also contain detailed background information of each attraction - its history, its current use and much more. Decide for yourself when to start your scavenger hunt city tour and how much time to spend at each location. Embark on an enigmatic and extraordinary tour and take a break from your City Game whenever you feel like it, or even continue your scavenger hunt on a different day – it’s completely up to you. Cycle past the Waldschlösschen Bridge, the construction of which cost the city of Dresden its UNESCO World Heritage title, and past the Loschwitz Bridge, also known as the “Blue Miracle.”Learn interesting facts about the Johannisfriedhof Cemetery and the Laubegaster Werft. Then, take the lock ferry to Pillnitz Castle and its park. Discover the vineyard church and the romantic church Maria am Wasser (Mary by the Water). Enjoy a mysterious, unique and extraordinary bicycle tour. No need to schedule your Scavenger Hunt City Tour for a certain date, simply order the City Game Box and have it delivered to your home, or make an appointment to pick it up in Dresden within the opening hours and you’re good to go.

The starting point for the scavenger hunt will be at the Schlossplatz in Dresden. Pick-up at Stadtspiel Shop, Rähnitzgasse 24, 01097 Dresden. Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 or by appointment.

Important information

Know before you go

  • Please note that delivery of the City Game Box may take up to 4 working days. The City Game Box can also be picked up directly in Dresden from Monday to Friday
  • Pick-up on weekends and public holidays will not be possible
  • Please note that the office is open weekdays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to arrange shipping for the game box. It is closed on legal holidays in Germany, and from Christmas until New Years.
  • If you’re having the Game Box delivered, please note that it will be shipped 4 weeks prior to your chosen delivery date at the earliest. If you need the box sooner, please choose your delivery date accordingly. The scavenger hunt may be played at any time after receiving the box, regardless of the date chosen

Wir waren drei Mädels, 30,41 und 68. Haben e Bikes gemietet (ist bis auf zwei Schnitzeljagd Stationen alles eben). Nach Altstadttour war es einfach toll, die Umgebung von Dresden zu erkunden. Man hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben, die einzelnen Punkte so zu beschreiben, dass wir selbst ohne Google Maps nicht orientierungslos waren. Auch die Sationen selbst wurden mit Liebe gewählt. Die letzte Station konnten wir leider nicht anfahren, da gerade der Elberadweg wohl an der Stelle neu gemacht wird. Hat für uns aber dem Ganzen keinen Abbruch getan. Mit ausreichend Pausen haben wir 7h benötigt. Trotzdessen halte ich es für sinnvoll, die Schnitzeljagd an einem Tag zu machen.

Fahrradtour mal anders

Entlang am schönen Elbtalweg ging es zum Pillnitzer Schloss. Unterwegs und beim Schloss mussten Aufgaben gelöst werden, dadurch nahmen wir unsere Umgebung aufmerksamer wahr. Die Schnitzeljagd ist super gemacht und auf jeden Fall eine gelungene Abwechslung zum standard Sighseeing in Dresden :) Das einzige was man beachten sollte, ist das die Schnitzeljagd am Wochenende nicht abgeholt werden kann.
