    I ordered the 2 day pass not realizing it was a voucher that had to be converted to a ticket and thinking it could be redeemed at or near the museum venues. Forgetting to check out where the redemption centers were and rushing to get a museum seen late in the first day, we went to the first of several museums only to find out they were at a another location . We paid that admission due to time constraints. The next day we went to redeem the tickets only to find the information very hard to find location in a shopping maul and in the basement floor. Once there the center the staff were very nice and helpful and exchanged the vouchers easily. Probably easier to use a service selling you the ticket directly online rather than a voucher that the museum will not accept directly before conversion. Otherwise would have given 5 stars instead of 3.5-4.

    We exchanged the vouchers for tickets with a very friendly employee directly at Dresden main station without queuing. Despite the Pentecost weekend, the museums were not overcrowded and thanks to the ticket we were able to get in everywhere without waiting. We visited the Mathematics/Physics Salon and the Old Masters Picture Gallery and the various rooms of the Residential Palace including the tower. It was a wonderful day and the price of the tickets was definitely worth it, especially since they entitle you to one-time use per museum for two days. You can also split the sightseeing over two days. The most important exhibitions for us were free. If you want to see more, you have to pay extra.

    All in all a worthwhile thing. The museums are really great. It's a shame that after purchasing the voucher you have to queue at the tourist information center to exchange the voucher for a ticket. It should also be noted that in reality there are not 16 independent museums with entrance fees to be paid individually, but only 4. So you can save much less than it appears at first glance.
