Dresden: 1-Hour Baroque Night Stroll

3. Dresden: 1-Hour Baroque Night Stroll

Take the helm of the Baroque city of Dresden with the fabled count Brühl himself or his enchanting wife, who have governed this town of palaces, intrigues and splendorous festivities through the better part of the 18th century, when it became known as the Florence at the Elbe river. Listen as the Prime Minister of Saxony tells his life story, how he rose from rags to riches to become the most influential politician at Dresden's court and then sank into oblivion again. He will take you to witness the most fabulous wedding of the Baroque age, where he started his career as a dishwasher only to later become Europes wealthiest private citizen and intimate enemy of Prussia's great King. His story-telling will resurrect the vanished splendor of buildings and people of Saxony's golden age for you. Combine this enchanting tour with a trip on a steamboat on the Elbe river and enjoy the Elbe-River-Valley, where German romantic painting was first conceived. The steamboat leaves its quay at the terrace of Brühl at 7:00 PM and travels for 3 hours.

What people are saying about Dresden Frauenkirche

Okay, it wasn't scary now, but weird to scream! Our guide was in a good mood with his played grimness, had interesting stories to tell and was never at a loss for a saying. The participants were motivated to participate during the tour. Also for younger visitors. Overall, we were quite a funny group from all over Germany and we all had fun. I can only recommend it!

I would not call it a scary tour, I had imagined it a little differently, with the motto "scary tour". But despite everything we found it a very successful evening and the tour was really successful and entertaining. Our child was also very enthusiastic, after an initial "motzen". :-) So definitely recommend it!

Compared to other scary tours, it wasn't really scary. The guide told some beautiful historical stories about places around the Frauenkirche. Interesting historical details were also conveyed. The guide was dressed up well and could tell very creepy and lively. Clear recommendation from me. Definitely worth it.

The tour was amazing. There were 20 people in the group. The guide was great informed about the coty‘s history. He was also a great actor. However, the tour was more fun than scary which we liked. I totally would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Dresden!

The city tour was very fun. We had 2 children and the dungeon master included you super. It was one of the good acting performances. We had a great evening. Thank you very much
