So getting the tickets was easy. However when we went to Dover Castle the young woman at the gate entrance was rude and not friendly. She didn’t or said she didn’t know the online service we used and gave us the runaround. We finally got in but it wasn’t a good experience.

I have been to many castles in England and this one is hard to beat , there is lots to do not just to see the castle good value for money and the views are great ,and free parking which is quick rare these days and the staff are friendly and welcoming

A most excellent way to while away a day in Dover. The castle is not as extensively annotated as the Tower of London complex but Dover Castle affords fantastic views and is a fun walk to do for Dover itself.

It was a little more expensive buying here rather than at the castle. However, we were able to skip the queue completely by having the tickets in advance. The castle is a must see if you are in this area.

Wow! Marvelous castle and the weather was just splendid! We enjoyed the food at the cafeteria also.
