    Benefit from pickup at your hotel in Chiang Mai, and then depart for Doi Suthep and Pui Mountain. Arrive at Doi Suthep Temple to transfer to a small truck that will take you into the mountains to a remote Hmong Hill Tribe village. Learn how the locals still live connected to nature, and get some free time to explore the village on your own, including the primary school and its compound. Relax with an afternoon coffee or tea before heading back to Doi Suthep Temple. Follow your guide through the historic complex, and get lots of information about the ideals and beliefs behind Buddhism. Attend an evening service at the temple to get better acquainted with the beliefs, bathed in golden light.

    We were with M, a nice and careful guide ! He answered to all our many questions. The different visits were well organised and M shows us the best spots to take pictures (he's also a good photographer !). We really enjoyed this authentic visit : with Hmong and their way of life, the good coffee and cakes in a quiet and pretty place (with a nice point of view) and the candle ceremony of the Doi Suthep monks.     The tour from start to finish was brilliant. Our tour guide was so informative and we learned more about Thailand, the hill tribe and Buddhism in this tour than we did in our 3 week holiday. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in Thai culture.

    We were pick up by Tui and driver, and we were treated to a wonderful drive up the mountain.We really enjoyed the experience in the Hill Tribe Village were we go to meet some of the people there and enjoyed a wonderful cup of local coffee, after being given all the information about the people from Tui. From there we went to the temple were Tui had a lot of information to tell us about the history and significance about the temple. It was a little busy when we go there, but the people started to leave and at around 7pm there were every little people there, just before the monks started to chant. It was an amazing experience all round and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
