    Full description
    Depart Chiang Mai for Doi Inthanon National Park to see Thailand’s highest mountain in the tropical forests south of the city. Go to the highest peak for a panoramic view and pay your respects at the shrine of King Intharawichayanont. Next, enjoy a short hike along the Angkha Natural Trail. See the twin stupas that commemorate the birthday of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit. Go to a local market of the Hmong hill tribe before visiting the Royal Agricultural Research Center, set up to support local projects in place of opium farming. After lunch at a local restaurant, explore the Karen hill tribe village of Mae Klang Luang and get a stunning view of the Vachiratharn Waterfall.

    Had the best time on our tour to Doi Inthanon National Park. Our tour guide was funny, informative and extremely friendly. I loved the idea of a small group tour. The lunch was delicious and the places we visited were beautiful. Would highly recommend!

    Overall the tour was pretty good. We were taken to multiple sites and saw quite a bit. However, I gave this tour four stars out of five because I felt that the description did not quite match the experience. While we saw a lot, most of the time was spent driving in the van. The experience makes it sound like the tour is mostly hiking and exploring on foot. Expect to be driven to each individual site, and spend most of your time in the van.

    Although it was raining all morning the trip was absolutely amazing. Almost no other visitors at the beautiful waterfalls, great coffee at the local native village, and almost private tour through Royal Stupas. Our guide "Paul" and our driver did an excellent job!
