The cruise was done by Jacobite Cruises, there was an indication as meeting point the post office but we arrived 10min before the time and no one was there. So, I would advise to park the car and go straight to the canal where the boat is. Covid security measures were very good with several warnings how and when you can go around the ship. There is also a bit of history around the places that we’re passing by, sometimes too quick since they were indicating the place but only after a few minutes we could see it. In the end is an enjoyable experience.

It was very well organised, parking was very easy, the boat was smart, clean and tidy; the crew were very attentive, smart and approachable and professional in the way they handled travellers not following COVID protection rules. The one drawback we found was, having travelled for 2 hours to get to the start point, there were no toilet facilities open at that time ( 9 am. The visitor’s centre does not open until 10am.)
