Full description
Enjoy a full-day wine tasting tour of the historic Burgundy wine region, with round-trip transfers from Dijon. Start your tour with a breathtaking views over the Corton hills of the Cote de Beaune, famous for its red and white Grand Cru wines. During the day, you will sample 9 to 12 white wines and Pinot noirs, including premiere and Grand Cru wines. You will also visit the cellars of a family-run wine estate to see the aged oak barrels and vintage wines. Then, enjoy lunch (own expense) and some free time in the historic town of Beaune, Burgundy’s wine capital. Your guide will suggest the best places to eat, and advise you about the local dishes and cheeses. You are free to do as you like in Beaune, but a visit to the mustard-makers of La Moutarderie Fallot (closed on Sundays) is highly recommended. As you wander the old town, you will find traditional shops selling local produce, such as blackcurrant liquor, mustard, honey spice cake, and Flavigny aniseed.

Jeremy gave us the English tour and was an excellent guide. He is nice, funny, welcoming and most of all has vast knowledge that he loves to share, as well as tips about things to do in Bourgogne. I would recommend everyone that comes to this area to start with this tour. Also, the wines in the tastings really were great. The views are amazing. Great VFM.

The tour is worth the price, I recommend it especially for people who are going to be in Dijon for a short time and want to know more about the Burgundy region, as it includes a visit to the city of Beaune, with which one saves the transfer to there and they give him enough time to eat there and walk around it. You learn a lot about the history of the region's wines, including technical details about irrigation and the grounds, though you don't have to be an expert to appreciate it either. The guide that we had was very charismatic and after each wine he asked us our opinion, which made the tour very interactive for everyone.

A very pleasant day in addition to being instructive in the company of Thomas, a warm guide with in-depth expertise, and quickly knowing how to put all the members of the group at ease. We recommend without hesitation this activity of tasting high quality wines and exploring the route des grands crus. We thank Thomas once again for the good memories we will have on this day.
