What people are saying about Dead Sea
We really enjoyed this tour, despite our sunrise not being great. Contrary to some of the other reviews, we had a tour guide who was very interested in everywhere we visited and she gave good descriptions of the relevant history (which was important for Masada). The hike up Masada itself was a decent challenge for us, a male and female in our late 20s; it took us just over 30 minutes to climb to the top. Ein Gedi was a nice way way to cool off after the climb, though I would say you don't really spend long here. We also got lucky as it was empty when we arrived but bus loads of tourists turned up as we were leaving, so expect it to be busy if you arrive a bit later! The Dead Sea was the highlight for us, as it was like nothing else we had experienced. We spent 90 minutes here, which I would say is a good amount of time. I would advise that you bring water shoes due to the rock salt/mud in the water! Finally, as advertised, the entrance to the attractions aren't included in the pric
The guide Radian really made the trip. He had great English and was very knowledgeable and helpful. He remained very calm under difficult circumstances., this trip is great value for the price as same trip on the ship was 300 usd. Big problem at start, 1.5 hours of our time lost due to the bus not being allowed into port to pick us up. this made the day rushed at the end. When we arrived at the dead sea the resort was closing in 45 minutes. Would suggest no lunch break is taken at Masada and more time given at the dead sea. The restaurant at Masada was rubbish very unorganised and expensive. We had to eat over 1.5 hours to get the gondola but it was worth it. Despite all these small issues it was a great day and I would Do it again. Take sunscreen, hat , water and good shoes. Thank you Radian, we missed you in Jerusalem.
My booking went a bit pear-shaped with pickup location (last minute booking) but company was friendly enough to move it to another date. Was transferred to central location from where trip started. The guide - Omri - funny guy with lots of knowledge - was clear in his way of leading and gave a lot of info. The tour included stop for natural break/coffee, lunch (at your expense). The driver - Itzik - make sure we arrived safe at our locations and drove very professional
The tour was 10 hours and it was interesting from beginning until the end. The tour guide was amazing, very knowledgeable, interesting, and organized. The whole tour was very organized and we enjoyed learning about the history of Jerusalem and had fun visiting the Dead Sea. No complaints, all was excellent! :)
Very informative, our guide was very knowledgeable in all three areas, and did a good job.
