Our original tour guide was not available and our actual tour guide, Raoul, was only informed the day before. Despite this, he was very friendly, informative, took us to a few places just out of the way of some of the touristy areas and gave us some history and background on the way of life in Amsterdam. He brought us to his favourite places to eat herring and fried cod, a small bar for local cheeses, a small gelato place and an Indonesian restaurant for some authentic snacks to finish up. All was delicious! Highly recommend.

It was a very nice experience! The guide was very helpful and shared a lots of information during the tour. With bikes it is much more to see than from a boat-canal trip. There are parts of Amsterdam that you will never see if you do not take a bike-tour!
