Full description
Spend a day in the natural habitat of fascinating wildlife creatures at Litchfield National Park. After being picked up from your accommodation at approximately 6:00 AM, ride in air-conditioned comfort to the famous Adelaide River. There, you'll board your private boat and cruise up the river. From the boat you can feed the crocodiles that teem in the water and see an abundance of wildlife all around you. You may even see a crocodile launching itself out of the water with the power of its tail! At the famous Litchfield National Park, you'll visit three waterfalls - the Wangi, Florence and Buley rock holes - and get the opportunity to swim in all three! Lunch is prepared in the park by your guide - a big bush picnic with an array of wraps, cold meats, breads, salad and fruit. Snacks are also included along the way if you're ever feeling peckish! Local and knowledgeable guides will give you thorough commentary throughout the day and stop for lots of photo opportunities. Marvel at the magnetic and cathedral termite mounds, and take time to visit the butterfly farm. Return to your accommodation in Darwin around 5:30 pm - or, on Sundays and Thursdays, at the famous Mindil beach markets!

Great day out exploring the area. Tour guides, Damo and Luke were very informative and gave us a good laugh along the way. Lunch was well catered for plus other snacks throughout the day, cold drinking water available all through the day too. Great value for what you get on the day. Highly recommend others to book this trip.

I had a great time on this tour, the guides Damo and Jake made the day fun, entertaining interesting and informative. The highlights were getting up close and personal with the crocs and our encounter with a frill neck lizard. Damo’s knowledge of the birds and wildlife added to the experience. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this tour. So much fun. Both Shaun, the croc boat guide and joey our onland guide for the day were friendly, informative and entertaining. Amongst others we met crocs Brutus and dominator upso close you could pat them and the snap of the jaw I will never forget. Such magnificent animals made more attractive due to shauns knowledge and obvious love. The day continued with joey and there is not enough room on the pages to even summarise the knowledge this lovely man imparted. Green termites taste like lemon pepper.. I know I tried them, tombstone mounds face magneticnorth, which leaves give the pure white smoke, the ancient knowledge of control burns and the flowers to grind for a insect repellent, swims in refreshing waterfall pools,Our lunch was fresh and yum as, my fellow travellers friendly and as a small group the tour had a real personal touch, not for me a guide at arms length like some other tours. A bucket list experience JUST DO IT,cheers, michelle
