Explore the timeless landscape of Kakadu National Park on a 13-hour tour through its beauty and diversity. Discover mangrove-fringed coastal areas that blend into expansive flood plains, lowland hills flanked to the east by sandstone escarpments, all interwoven between various open woodland and forest habitats. Teeming with wildlife in the water, land, and air, the many species that provide a diversity and concentration seen nowhere else add to the natural spectacle. See how the land takes on different forms and colors with the passing of each season. Travel across the Adelaide River and Marrakai Plains, and stop at Nourlangie Rock, where your guide will lead a walk to view the ancient Aboriginal rock art. After lunch, join a local guide for a cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong. Search for saltwater crocodiles and the colorful range of birdlife for which this region is renowned. The tour itself was very good and we had an excellent tour guide. However, the pre-trip administration was appalling. We could not get through to the local operator (AAT KING) so we did not know until we were actually on the trip whether lunch was provided. There was also no pick-up information and the promised drop down list of locations did not exist. Your customer service desk could not help us either. Very poor indeed.

The tour was a good introduction to the Kakadu and NT history. The cruise along Yellow Waters billabong was beautiful with lots of bird spotting along the shorelines. The lunch was a little underwhelming; consisting of cold cuts and salads, I also missed out on the scenic flight optional even though I was one of the first people to place my name in cue. Would of preferred more time to explore Nourlangie independently as this part felt a little rushed.

It was great!!! We can recommend the tour to everyone, it was a very, very well organized trip. Very informative, exciting landscapes, we learned and saw a lot of Australia's flora and fauna in this region. Guide Gordon is a very good guide who fully identifies with his country. He puts his heart and soul into his job, explained and showed us a lot and answered all our questions. Many Thanks!!!
