We were lucky enough to have Mike as our guide. Mike is professional, friendly, calm, knowledgeable and very passionate about what he does. He looked after us very well during the day. Mike explained everything we needed to know and gave us a rich insite into the culture and history of Tanzania. Our experience was fantastic, starting with a ferry ride across the Dar Es Salaam channel to visit the local fish markets. Then a visit to the National Museum and Village Museum. We were driven around to visit many local significant buildings in the city area, including a detailed history of the city.

I had an absolutely wonderful day tour of Dar es Salaam with Mike. This young man met me at the Ferry Terminus on my arrival, the first thing I saw when exiting the building, was my name held high in black and white. He gave me the required history of the area we were in and then he took me around the area before we drove to the next point. My tour lasted approximately six hours, and Mike kept me engaged all the way, he is a wealth of information and very knowledgeable about Dar. We covered so many places and only break for lunch. He also provided bottled water to keep me hydrated. He was very patient with my many questions, and his main interest was making sure I had a great experience. I now have a wonderful knowledge of this wonderful city. There was so much information at hand, and so fascinating. We also visited the tourist market where I was able to purchase all my souvenirs, and I found the fish market to be a memorable experience. Mike turned a good vacation into a great one.

Booked at the last minute during my 7 days in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Glad I selected Dove Adventure Tanzania for the City Tour. I truly had a great experience. The tour consisted of me and the guide, Mr. Lasway. Mr. Lasway was knowledgeable about the history of the areas visited, and made the experience to the Village Museum memorable and exciting. Throughout the tour he was very courteous and insightful. If I ever come back to Tanzania, I’d book again with Dove Adventure Tanzania!
