Explore the eastern hills of Bogotá on horseback. Among these hills, the twins Guadalupe and Monserrate are most well known and visited. Enjoy the views of the bustling city below as you embark on a journey between these two hills.  Start with pickup from your hotel, and travel to Guadalupe, where you’ll enjoy a delicious local breakfast. Begin your horseback ride on the trail that connects the two hills. Mount your horse and follow the trail that will take you back in time to Colombia’s colonial period. Ride through the mountains and forests and learn of the various indigenous and rural traditions and their connection to the hills. You will then reach Monserrate with its beautiful church and magnificent views over the entire city. Rest awhile and take in the amazing views. Then, you are welcome to explore Monserrate, with its myths and legends still alive today. Before heading back down to the city, enjoy a traditional lunch, at your own expense, and visit the local artisanal market. Finally, descend back to Bogotá in the cable car or funicular, before being returned to your hotel.
