It was nice to travel around Heraklion on the sightseeing bus, especially up on the open deck. The information received was also fascinating. Since the bus does not go into the center, you had to find your own way to get to the old part of town with its historic buildings and market-like shopping streets. The hop on and hop off system was basically good, but sometimes you had to wait a long time before the next bus arrived. It was also not so clear to us which bus belonged to "our" travel company and where we were allowed to ride. The sightseeing offer is recommended, but one day was enough for us because moving around a city is also quite tiring.

Would be nice if the beaches area were covered but it's the perfect and economical way to visit Knossos!
