Full description
Spend a day in the stunning landscapes of the Samariá Gorge, starting with a bus transfer to Chora Sfakion. Upon arrival, board the ferry to Agia Roumeli, and reach the south end of Samariá Gorge, where you can take some spectacular hikes through the rocks. Benefit from the opportunity to walk up to the Iron Gate at the narrowest part of the gorge, and enjoy some free time for a refreshing swim and to enjoy lunch on arrival. You can walk as much, or as little as you want, making it suitable for families with children as well as adventurous travelers. Take the ferry in the afternoon back to the waiting bus for the return transfer to your hotel or other convenient nearby location.

Good footwear is a must, as it only goes downhill for 6 hours over slippery stones and rubble. Walking sticks are also very helpful. The hike is not recommended for people with any kind of leg problems. The impressions you take with you are breathtaking. very good organization, also at short notice, super caring guide, there are guards from the national park on the route who help and mules

We had to take a boat tour and walk we found ourselves doing a 20 km trek without explanations from the tour operator except for "we are sorry your tour does not start, do this which is identical". A mockery, to take the money they sent us to the complete turn of the throat despite having specified that we had children and all the instructions advised the children from the complete tour X difficulty and heat. The time to complete the 20 km and a vertical drop of 1200m requires considerable physical preparation. One cannot delay, under penalty of loss of the boat X, to return home. A total anguish ... but get your guide does not verify the reliability of the local tour operators on which it relies ??
