We chose a tour without audioguide because we‘ve already been here, but even though l checked two times with GetYourGuide service about the timing and they told me my ticket is valid for 24 hours after checking in no matter that it says 10:00 am l can still get in anytime l want, turns out it’s not right and you can’t enter the mosque with your 10:00 o’clock ticket at 14:00 o’clock, l was lucky the woman at the door was unbelievably friendly and she fixed it with another coworker. Despite this it was a great experience and a magical place.

This monument is spectacular and a must see when visiting Cordoba. We decided to use the audio guide in order to learn about the history. Although this provided relevant information it was sometimes difficult to follow the map as there are no numbers inside the building that relate to the map provided. I think a guided tour may have been better.

A visit to the mosque is a must. Simply stand and admire the amazing arches, the appear to stretch on for ever. The Catholic Cathedral built within the confines of the mosque is also a sight to behold For me just to wander around inside is sufficient. Access can be gained easily with your pre booked ticket, do not very put off by the large queues, once inside the place is so vast there is space for everyone
