Absolutely LOVED this tour. So much to see, and our driver Ben, was a wealth of information. We can highly recommend this tour and would definitely do it again. The Waldheim Chalet and park was the biggest suprise. The moss forest was breathtaking. We had the best time, even as it was a drizzling most of the day. The only unfortunate thing was the Cheese factory was closed (due to renovations) but Ben our driver took us to a Raspberry farm which was just as wonderful.

Was a foggy day but we were able to still see wombats and enjoy the day out. Was nice that they had spare jackets and beanies and socks for people to use. I did however feel quite rushed during the tour and wish we were a bit more relaxed to go at our own pace. We ended up coming back early so I felt we could have gone slower to take photos and enjoy the scenery or even see other stops along the way or coming back.

    4. Dove Canyon - Full-Day Canyoning Tour at Cradle Mountain

An action packed day in an amazing place. After abseiling into the canyon, you'll soon come to Freestyle Falls and jump the seven meters into the deep pool below. You'll continue through the canyon, encountering five more waterfalls. A highlight is the Laundry Shoot – a massive natural water-slide in the heart of the canyon. Finding yourself in a large cave-like area, you bob towards the light at the end of the tunnel that seems to be sucking you toward it with more force the closer you get. Guides won’t spoil the surprise of what happens next...but it’s damn cool. After sliding off the last waterfall, you'll climb up out of the canyon, back to where our dry clothes are. You'll get changed here and walk back to the bus. The climb up out of the canyon is definitely the hardest part of the day physically. It takes about 20 minutes and is all up hill. This amazing part of Tasmania’s Wilde...

We had a great day. The drive / tour guide was great. My husband has issues with walking, due to a accident few years ago. He took into account his issues. He would walk so far , then wait our return. We had a wonderful day long but very enjoyable.
