Great tour with such a great bunch of people. The weather ended up being very kind to us. Ben was very informative of the area and kept us all on schedule to where we needed to be. Lunch was a little underwhelming, but the hut in which we ate it had beautiful views and even spotted a few wombats in the wild.

We had a great day. The drive / tour guide was great. My husband has issues with walking, due to a accident few years ago. He took into account his issues. He would walk so far , then wait our return. We had a wonderful day long but very enjoyable.

Good to have done it. There are a few angles though. First, it is 2.5 hours to get there from Launceston, so 5 hours transit all up. Second, the weather at Cradle Mountain is very finicky. For example, it was cold and wet for us, but no rain 40 minutes away at Sheffield. Our guide Ben was very good, and overall a good experience which was significantly down to his guidance.
