After meeting your guide in central Florence, listen to an insightful introduction about the Cinque Terre on the 2-hour bus journey to La Spezia. After a quick bathroom break, board the first train of the day. Arrive in Manarola, the first of the Cinque Terre villages you will visit. Here you will join a small guided walk through the vines, and then enjoy some free time to explore at your own pace. Next, take the train to Corniglia. Climb the steps to reach the center of this quaint village and take some time to wander around. If you have selected the add-on, sit down at a local restaurant with a beautiful terrace and sea views. Then, choose to either go on an adventurous guided hike from Corniglia to Vernazza, or if you prefer to take it easy, follow your guide and take a train instead. Once in Vernazza, sit at one of the local cafés, or take a refreshing dip in the sea. Next, board a train to Monterosso, the village renowned for its beautiful beaches and artisan shops. If the weather allows it, you will then board a boat to navigate along the coast of the Cinque Terre. Arrive in Riomaggiore, an ancient fishing village and the most southern of the 5 villages. Coach from Florence to Le Spezia followed by train between villages and then coach from Le Sepzia back to Florence. Tour leaders were Christian and Ato and driver was Fabio. Because you need to get trains between villages you are on a tight schedule however they try to be a flexible as possible. The Tour leaders were very friendly and knowledgeable. Spend time in Manarola, Corniglia with optional lunch @ 15 euros each of seafood plate and pasta with pesto, potato and green beans. Some then walked to Vernazza, while others took train. Then Monterosso al Mare. It was from here we were to catch a boat back to Riomaggiore however the sea was too rough. So back on the train to Riomaggiore which is one of the most photographed villages in the world. Only downside was the length of the tour and time in each town. Might be better option to drop one of the town and allow more time in the other towns but not sure how they would be able to do this.

Cinque Terre is a beautiful place to visit, the views and the towns are amazing. But what really made the difference was our guide Andrea, he was so welcoming and attentive during the whole trip. He ensured to have drinks for everyone and he even had a small souvenir for the group as welcome gift. The weather was a little rainy and he was prepared with umbrellas and rain coats. He even booked us a table in a very good restaurant in town, with amazing food and the best tiramisu we had in Italy. We felt safe and very confortable in the trip because of him, it was an amazing experience. Thanks Andrea for all the time dedicated to our family during the trip and for being such a great tour guide.

This tour was amazing. The place is beautiful, breathtaking. I had Ado like tour guide, and he was amazing!! He knew a lot of everything and made it so fun. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side that day, but he did his best to give the best experience possible. Im not a fan of "tours" in general, but after this time, I'll definitely will book more. If you have the opportunity, book this tour and hope you are lucky and get Ado as the tour guide

I would highly recommend this tour ! Our guides Chris and Ado were very nice, smart and helpful . They gave a lot of extra informations and made sure, everyone feels well and tried to answer all the questions somebody asked. They even went out of their way , so I could hike alone ahead and do my own stuff.I am very glad, I did this tour and I would do it again , because also "Cinque Terre " is a beautiful place !

I had Ado as a guide for this tour and he was absolutely fantastic. Hands down the best tour I have ever done. Ado has so much knowledge of the history of all the places we passed by and visited and he shares it all in a way that is interesting and engaging. Would definitely recommend.
