Find the most representative architectural and cultural imprints of Córdoba with a visit to the old Synagogue, Municipal Souk, Chapel of San Bartolomé, and Puerta de Almodóvar. Learn about the legacy of the different people who settled on this land. All these landmarks are set in the area of the Historic Center of Córdoba that is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the old Jewish quarter, an example of the historical coexistence between the 3 cultures in Córdoba. Take a stroll through a fascinating network of narrow lanes. See the old Synagogue, one of the most centenary in Spain. Stop by the Municipal Souk, a beautiful space located in the courtyard of an old palace where Cordoba artisans have been making their products for over 60 years. Enter the Chapel of San Bartolomé. Get introduced to relevant historical figures from Cordoba such as Maimonides and Mohamad al-Gafequi. Step into the current Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, located in a beautiful 18th-century building. Finish the tour at the Puerta de Almodóvar, the oldest and least modified medieval walls in Córdoba. Admire the remains of this old city gate.
