Tivoli Gardens far surpassed expectations - really fun, festive atmosphere but a way more quaint feel and not as commercial, crowded, or expensive as American counterparts (e.g., Disney, Six Flags, etc.) Good mix of rides for all ages (particularly if your child is ~4 ft., than they can ride things solo, but my four year old is not and still had a ton to ride solo or with an adult companion). Entrance relatively cheap (~$20), if you are going to ride more than 2 rides / repeat times on rides you should buy the ride pass. (also reasonable at ~$40, each individual ride is anywhere from $4.5 - $13.5 depending on the attraction, with very small waiting queues my 4 year old probably did 25 rides including repeats on attractions, and it comes with the photo pass)
There was no line because it was a weekday but overall I think the price matched or bettered the price of buying everything from Tivoli itself which is nice since I was able to pay in my own currency. Tivoli is definitely worth the money and there are some very nice rides! I am a thrill seeker and I think it was enough to satisfy my roller coaster needs, maybe a 7.5/10 for thrill and speed if you really like thrill. My partner would probably say higher Food and drink is allowed in the park which is surprising for people used to the USA! But food at the park also isn’t super expensive. A must in CPH
The Tivoli amusement park is right next to the train station and closer to the hotel. Very nice and great tracks! No queuing, the people were very relaxed despite the pandemic. Really nice to walk ... we could use almost every train!
Place is amazing so crissmassy. Lovely gardens lots of rides and restaurants . Worth the money. Defo recommend it.
It is always worth visiting Tivoli. Rides, grounds, staff and Saturday fireworks are great.
