Commander's Palace: Tours & Tickets
What people are saying about Commander's Palace
French quarter food was just that- food. Don’t eat before taking this tour. I did enjoy learning about and tasting NO foods although I would have enjoyed more historical information. Lots of walking too. The garden tour was disappointing but I was tired from the morning tour. Cemetery was closed so couldn’t go in. Rest of tour was walking around neighborhood looking at various forms of architecture. I expected gardens but there weren’t any- just describes neighborhood
This is a great way to see the Garden District. It is a 2 hour walking tour so it gives you a taste of the area and the architecture but is not overwhelming. Note - the sidewalks in New Orleans have personality due to the roots of the fabulous trees in the City. Probably not the best choice for folks that are mobility challenged.
AWESOME, informative, entertaining. Worth it!
We had Ducky as our tour guide and he was so knowledgeable and an absolute riot. Great tour guide, great tour (even on a 105 degree day in August!). Highly recommend.
Our guide Randy was friendly, interesting, knowledgeable, and emphasized those things that most interested us. I highly recommend him.
An easy walk with lots of stops. Lots of historical facts told in fun and interesting ways...my teenage boys really enjoyed it.
