  • Moab: Sound and Light Show with Dinner

    1. Moab: Sound and Light Show with Dinner

Begin the evening on the banks of the Colorado River, just 2 miles north of Moab, Utah. Savor a delicious cowboy-style Dutch oven dinner in a dining room overlooking the water. After dinner, climb aboard a flat-bottomed boat and begin your river adventure. A knowledgeable and entertaining guide will point out things of interest and ignite your imagination. Once darkness settles in, the formal part of the evening begins when 40,000 watts of natural light illuminate the canyon wall. Watch as lights, shadows, music, and narration make the stories of the canyon's formation, creation, and history come to life on the walls above the river - as learned from the early settlers of the area (the Catholic conquistadors, Native Americans, and Mormon pioneers). This Sound and Light Show is a not-to-be-missed unique experience and a great end to a perfect day in Moab.

Host was charming and funny. We thought the experience was wonderful. The sky was remarkable. Definitely recommend.

Drive a specialized 4WD vehicle, with the confidence of knowing you are on the trail with a professional guide. Hell's Revenge is like a slow moving roller coaster; except it’s on slickrock! If you don’t want to drive, sit back and relax as the guide does the driving (maximum 3 passengers per guide). This paddle boarding adventure was loads of fun. Awesome views going through the beautiful Colorado River with the steep cliff faces to your left and right. Parts of the rapids made it challenging to say up rite on your board but that’s part of the fun. Other parts of the river were calm and relaxing just floating along. Teal was my tour guide. She was very friendly and made sure we knew the proper techniques and safety measures. She was also a wealth of knowledge about Moab in general. Would definitely recommend this tour to able bodied adventure goers.
