    Full description
    Your tour will begin early in the morning at 7:00AM, as your friendly driver picks you up from your Colombo hotel. From here you will depart for your destination of Galle. Once having arrived, you will begin with a tour of Galle Fort in Sri Lanka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Galle Fort (or Dutch Fort as it is also known), is a fortification first built by the Portuguese on the Southwestern coast of Sri Lanka. The initial fortifications (which were built in the late 16th century), were quite basic, but the fort underwent extensive modifications in the 17th century by the Dutch. Following the Galle Fort, you will proceed to lunch. Following your lunch break, you will reconvene your journey to the fishing village of Ahangama for a 1-hour stilt fishing experience. Stilt fishing is an old Sri Lankan way of catching fish, but is today more of a performance for the island's visitors than a part of the fishing industry. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be transferred back to your Negombo Hotel.

    • Vaccinated passengers should stay in a level 1 hotel once arrived in Sri Lanka and obtain a negative PCR report in order to start the tour
