If you are in Lisbon and want to go to Porto, we recommend that the first visit is to Óbidos, Nazaré or to Fátima. The second visit we recommend Coimbra or Aveiro. But of course is your decision. During the 2 visits we will present the city to you and after that you will have the chance to explore it by yourself. For helping you to decide let´s talk a little bit about the different cities. Óbidos is a medieval village inside of the walls of the castle. A magnificent place to spend 1 hour taking pictures, shoping or having a drink. The famous Ginja liqueur in a chocolate cup is a must. In Nazaré we have beach and a magnificent view over the Atlantic Ocean from the cliff where is the Chapel of the Miracle. A perfect place to spend 1 hour taking a beer/café or 2 hours having lunch in front of the Ocean. Fátima is peace and light. The biggest Catholic Shrine in Portugal. Suitable for a quick stop or for a 2 hours lunch stop. Coimbra, the first Portuguese capital, place of one of the oldest Universities in Europe, is the perfect place to send 2 hours exploring or having lunch. Aveiro with its channels is the Portuguese Venice. Perfect for a 1 hour visit to taste the famous sweet eggs or 2 hours if you want to visit the city by boat. Suitable for a quick stop or for a 2 hours lunch stop. Tomar, the city of the Knights Templar, with there castle and also the Convent of Christ (UNESCO site). But Tomar is also a city of medieval streets and a beautiful river - the perfect place to spend 2 hours exploring or making the guide visit to the UNESCO site.
