What people are saying about Civitavecchia

Everyone should do this. Don’t go for the silly $70-80 USD per head that the cruise line offers. Easy to follow signs to the free shuttle service from the pier. If you get confused, just ask around, ask the bus drivers, they will point you in the right direction. Free aircon shuttle bus takes you to the train station area. Get your bags and follow the crowd, the yellow t-shirt staff are impossible to miss. They fill the buses on a first come first serve basis, once full the buses are sent off to the airport. We got there a bit early, and our bus also left 30 mins early.

Worked as beskribed. Take the shuttlebus from the ship out of the harbour⛴. Get off, then just out of the gate and turn to the right 20 m and you have the place where the shuttlebus to Rome goes. Beskribed 2 times 9.00 and 9.30. ‍♂️ 9.00 did’nt go/come. More has the same experience. Quite easy in generel and a fair price. 15€ pr person. We were 3 per. 70€ to Rome and back

Emmanuelle picked us up promptly, and took us to almost every important monument in Rome, he parked close to everything and allowed us time to enjoy a delicious lunch in Rome. Don’t think about it, book the trip.

Great organization, well air-conditioned bus. Meeting point near Castel Sant'Angelo is perfect for exploring Rome from there. Tip: Book a hop-on hop-off bus to reach all the sights.

Nice experience with bus transport. Company agents are easy to spot as soon as you get off the shuttle. Nice experience!
