Menorca: Coves and Beaches Sailing Trip with Paella Lunch
- Duration: 7 hours
Set off on your coastal cruise from the port of Ciutadella to discover the south coast of Menorca. Starting at 10 AM, visit hidden gems and admire the natural beauty of the region’s coves, from the boat and with your own two feet on the shore.
On the first stop of the day trip at Son Saura, dip your toes in the sand and crystal-clear waters. You can also take a 15-minute stroll along the rustic route of Camí de Cavalls to reach one of Menorca’s more remote and untouched beaches, Es Talaier.
Then, at 1 PM enjoy a complimentary lunch back on board of paella with refreshing sangria and orangeade. After lunch, you will set sail to see the coves of Macarella and Macarelleta.
Stop for a swim or snorkel in the blue waters of Cala Turqueta and mingle with the local marine wildlife. Continue combing the coas...
The boat was a bit bigger than expected and 2/3 complete. Staffing was very nice and cautions regarding all security measures.
Depart from the port of the Ciutadella, before sailing along the south coast of the island, visiting various unspoilt beaches. You'll have plenty of free time at Son Saura and Cala en Turqueta to go swimming or simply relax on the boat and take in the scenery. At lunchtime, you will enjoy a mixed paella on board, along with a glass of sangria or a soft drink. After lunch, head to another bay called Cala Macarella-Macarelleta. The boat will then head back to the port of Ciutadella.
I highly recommend a boat trip when in Menorca. This one is great, stopping on beautiful beaches. The atmosphere in the boat is also very pleasant, not too crowded, with a great music playlist, but also not too loud. The crew is very welcoming. The only downside was the paella, which was ok, but not great.
The excursion begins with a journey from Puerto de Alcudia to Ciutadella, aboard a fast ferry with services such as free Wi-Fi, a snack bar and a duty free shop. Once in Ciutadella you will travel to Monte Toro, the highest point in Menorca at 358 meters. From there you can see the entire contour of the island and, if the day is clear, you will see Mallorca. You have 30 minutes of free time. Our next destination is Fornells, a fishing village where the town and its people live around the port, one of the largest on the island. You will continue the tour to Maó, where you can see the capital and most cosmopolitan city on the island of Menorca, led by our guide with a guided tour of the old town. You have 2 hours of free time. Then, we will stop at Binibeca, a picturesque fishing village where you can stroll among the pristine white houses and through the narrow streets. Finally we will ...

The description of the activity matched completely with the real excursion, there was enough space for everybody and the possibility to choose from upper and lower deck! We visited beautiful beaches with 2 stops that gave us enough time to enjoy some swim and hiking. The lunch was very well organised and paella was delicious, with the possibility to have more once everybody had it. In general I would highly recommend this activity, I believe that the quality/price is very good :)
Visit the south coast of the island, seeing beaches and enjoying a bath in some of them. Crystalline waters. It is the second time that I do this exit and I already hope to do the next one. Highly recommended
The excursion is great, a family plan and easy for people with difficulty accessing the coves on foot. The boat leaves you on the most popular beaches and without having to walk a lot
We have loved the boat tour, we have known several coves and bathed in two of the most beautiful. Fully recommended
Nice boat trip. Very pleasant moments on the beaches
