We had a great afternoon climbing up to the vineyard. We then got to enjoy the views of Vernazza with wine and snacks. Luca is a very warm and likable guy. We enjoyed hearing his passion for the wines and his family history with the land. Do be prepared for a climb, it is a 1 km uphill walk, but it is mostly stone steps and there are hand rails. The pace was not too fast and we had several stops for views. The reward at the top is worth it! We were basking in the sun eating pesto and drinking lovely wine.

This was one of the best things we have done while traveling Europe! Manuela was very informative about the culture and history of the town. She was fun and interesting to listen to and made our experience very memorable. The stops on our tour were amazing and she was very knowledgeable about the places and their history which made it that more special. Would recommend her and this tour to anyone and everyone looking to explore some great food and company!

There are not enough words to describe how incredibly wonderful this experience was. Barbara and Stefano (and their adorable dogs) were gracious hosts and gave us a memory we will each cherish for the rest of our lives. The astonishing views are just an added bonus to what it was like cooking with them in their kitchen and tasting the food they helped us prepare. This experience brought us so much joy and we are beyond grateful to them for it.

We LOVED Luca and his mom!! It was truly magical to hike up to his family winery, and learn about its history as well as the history of Vernazza. The wines were so tasty and we got to sit in the middle of the vineyard. It was a beautiful experience. I would 100% recommend. We also got to try focaccia and his mom’s pesto which was delicious.

Excellent day with Antonio! Cinque Terre and Lucca, wonderful knowledge and lunch, very easy going personality. Engaged kids and adults. Highly recommend.
