Day trip to Qinque Terre and Portovenere

Met at the agreed location. Driver knew English and told along the way. Everything with tickets and transport was solved in a great way. The car we drove in only had seats that turned right and the drive went smoothly. We parked up in the first town in Qinque Terre and walked down through the city to the station where we would have trains to the next town. From the next town there was a boat to the town where we had lunch. There were problems with the lunch order and had we gone there on our own we would not have been given food. Our guide arranged and although there was some waiting we got good food. Last stop of the trip was Portovenere, a great city, we were tired after a long day and did not see much.

The guides did their best despite the train strike.

Friendly guides and very good meal. The circuit was made entirely by boat following a train strike. Suddenly, only two villages visited instead of the four planned, and an intense pace to compensate for the time lost. Overall a very nice day with a view of the Cinque Terre from the sea, the meal in Monterosso and free time in Porto Venere.
