2. Toulouse: 2.5-Hour Private Walking Tour

Explore the historic city of Toulouse with a guide on a tour that can be customized for your convenience, and get information about the sights you will see along the way. Start with a visit to the Basilica of Saint-Sernin, constructed in a Romanesque style between 1080 and 1120. Marvel at the quality of the many sculptures at the largest remaining Romanesque building in Europe, and discover why it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list as part of the "World Heritage Sites of the Routes of Santiago de Compostela" in 1998. Then, visit the large brick building of the Church of the Jacobins, built over a century in the Gothique Méridional (southern Gothic) style. Learn how it received the body of Thomas Aquinas (Saint Thomas D'Aquino) from Pope Urban V in 1368 to encourage pilgrims and the up-keep of the church. Hear how it was used by Napoleon as a stable for his horses during his war campaigns. Next, visit Hôtel d'Assézat before ending at the Capitole de Toulouse. Excellent tour of Toulouse highlights and history.

Silvanna was awesome. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about Toulouse, the city she lives in and loves. Walking around Toulouse with her was a rewarding and entertaining experience. She knew a lot, answered our questions, suggested a wonderful place for lunch afterwards. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get to know the city better. Our only regret was that we didn’t have more time to explore some of the things she pointed out on the tour as we left the city afterwards. Thank you Silvanna!!

The guide was brilliant, he had very good english and a great knowledge of the area. The sites that we visited were interesting and the guide was very funny and cheerful. I would recommend to anyone.

If you take it for three days it can only be worth it if you use public transportation since the majority of museums that are free are 5€ or I could have had a student reduction.

Good value with unlimited travel on public transport and free admission to most of the city's museums. The pass also gives reductions on many other activities.

very useful for getting around and enjoying the city
