After a 1-hour train journey arrive in Kamakura and head to the first stop of the day, Hase Temple, also known as the Temple of Flowers. As you explore the complex, soak up the tranquil atmosphere and listen to your guide’s fascinating insight into the shrine’s history. It was an almost perfect day for the tour. We had an informative guide who was very pleasant and accommodating. At our request he brought us to a restaurant that served a delicious lunch. And he brought us to a few vantage points from where we had the best views of the majestic mountain.
