Soo cool easy way to see christchurch

    September 3, 2020

On the advertised tour we did not see the Museum & Art Centre, Bridge of Remembrance, Botanic Gardens or Mona Vale historic homestead undergoing renovation after the earthquake. We were asked what we would like to see as there were only 3 on the tour! I said 'what was advertised please'. That was what the tour was for as I was a stranger to Christchurch. Just after the tour began there was a thunderstorm which started when we were stopped at the Cathedral as I was taking a photo and we just drove around the city. We headed up to 'Sign of the Takahe' and spent time looking around the restaurant and then up and over Dyers Pass stopping to take in the views and the down to Lyttleton Harbour where we stopped and through Sumner but we didn't pass through the harbour tunnel or see Cave Rock. Coming back into the city after the 3hr timeframe. Our guide, Keith, was very nice but felt he could have given us more information. I did 2 tours in Auckland and there was no comparison.
