In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel at 08:00 and taken to the Wulong Furong Cave near Jiangkou (2.5-hours driving). Furong Cave, located along the bank of Furong River between the town of Haokou and Jiangkou. Wulong county was discovered in May 1993 and it is popular among visitors for its limestone cave. It is also an artistic underground palace, a scientific cavern museum and the only nominated site for World Natural Heritage in China so far. The main limestone is unexpectedly as long as 2,700 meters. Then, take 30 minutes to head to Xiannüshan tourist center to catch a special tourist bus to the Natural Stone Bridges Scenic Area. The site, as the name suggests, has three huge natural stone bridges over two karst dolines. The three grand arch bridges are named Tianlong, Qinglong and Heilong, respectively. In addition, karst caves, grotesque peaks and beautiful waterfalls are found everywhere. Walk along the narrow path to the bottom of the dolines, where you will experience the grandness and magic of nature. Enjoy its outstanding presence. Return to Xiannüshan and then drive back to Chongqing city hotel around 18:30 (2.5-hours driving).

Today, you will go to Dazu County for a whole day of sightseeing (your guide will meet you at 08:30 in your hotel lobby). This is the birthplace of the amazing Dazu rock carvings, which were created from the late Tang dynasty (618~907) to the early Song dynasty (960~1127). With the theme of Buddhism, the Dazu cliffside carvings are distributed in Beishan, Baodingshan, Nanshan, Shimenshan and Shizhuanshan. You will spend the day visiting the Baodingshan carvings located about 527 meters above sea level. It consists mainly of the Dafowan rock carvings area and the Xiaofowan rock carvings area. There are about 10,000 statues of Buddha carved on the 500 meter cliff in the U-shaped Dafowan. It is said to be a long narrative mural with plenty of commentary but no repeated content. When the tour ends, you will drive you back to your Chongqing hotel.
