On the morning of your visit, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Pattaya and will be driven for approximately 30 minutes through scenic agricultural areas before arriving at the Sanctuary. There, you will meet your English-speaking guide and learn a little about the elephants. After being handed bananas and sugar cane to feed to the elephants, walk with your guide through the sanctuary, discovering free-roaming elephants in a safe, sustainable and ethical environment, and hearing their individual stories. You can touch, feed, photograph, and interact with the elephants at your leisure while you learn about their lifestyle and behaviors. After you have met all the elephants, accompany them to a nearby mud spa. Get muddy with the elephants as you apply a healthy cosmetic mud treatment to their skin. On this 7-hour wild jungle safari tour, you will be picked up from your hotels in Koh Samui between 10:00 - 11:15 AM and taken on a spectacular adventure up into the mountain and through the Jungle of Koh Samui and then down the other side. All safaris are conducted using authentic rugged ex-army jeeps. It is an exhilarating and rugged experience, but safety is always the highest priority. The first stop on the safari is the famous Grandfather/Grandmother Rocks. Next to the rocks is a quaint market selling all sorts of handmade Thai products and souvenirs. This tour was only available as a private tour. We were picked up at the hotel. It was all wonderful. Our driver was a great driver and Nancy a great guide. She fully responded to our wishes and always explained everything to us in detail. She made our day an unforgettable experience. We were able to swim in the beautiful sea, rode speedboats and jet skis and visited the very special Monument of Truth temple. Definitely worth seeing. Thank you Nancy for a great day.
