Full description
Enjoy a day in nature. Kiew Mae Pan is one of the most scenic natural treasures and beautiful trails in Thailand, where the invigorating, fresh mountain air is waiting to welcome you at Inthanon National Park. This trail is open for visitors from November to May only and it is a very popular hiking trail for locals too. After pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai city in the morning, visit Wachirathan Waterfall and Karen Village at Doi Inthanon which is considered as the highest mountain in Thailand. While visiting this village, you will get to taste some fresh coffee right from the plantation. After that, your lunch will be served at the Royal Project Restaurant. Here, produce from the Queen's agricultural projects are transformed into delicious meals. After lunch, you enjoy a truly unique experience by walking 2.5-3 kilometers along Kew Mae Pan Nature trail through the beautiful green forest, passing giant rhododendrons, waterfalls and streams which leads to a cliff where you can enjoy breathtaking mountain views. Then, drive up to the highest peak and take a short stroll along Angka Natural Trail (15-20 minutes). On the way back, stop at Phra Maha Dhatu Nabha Metaneedol and Nabhapol Bhumisiri, more commonly known as the Two Royal Stupas which were built to honor King Bhumibhol and Queen Sirikit of Thailand for their 60th birthdays respectively. Return to Chiang Mai by late afternoon.

We had an excellent guide to lead us on this tour! Our guide was very friendly, nice, and hospitable. Very knowledge about the park and Thailand itself. I would recommend this tour to my friends.
