Full description
At 9:00 AM, begin the day with a hotel pick-up and ride to the base. Once arrived, you'll have your safety briefing and be kitted out in safety gear. Then you can begin the hike up to the old Hmong Hill Tribe Village at the summit of Doi Pui National Park. The trek takes you through a stunning highland jungle, filled with huge indigenous Mai Yai trees. After about 3 hours of steady walking, you'll reach your destination: the summit of the National Park, reaching an elevation of 1400m. At the peak, your bikes and gear will be waiting for you in the nearby village. After a well-earned lunch break, begin your descent through the National Park on your mountain bike toward Lake Huay Tung Tao, an approximately 2-hour ride away. In contrast to the hike up, gravity rewards you now with a cool ride downhill with views of the beautiful Mae Ping Valley.  Awaiting you lakeside is a proper late lunch with cool drinks. Take a dip before it’s time to jump back in the truck and head out of the National Park. After a fun day out, you will be delivered back to your hotel around 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM.

Absolutely an amazing experience and recommend for someone who loves an adventure. Our tour guides JLo, Tony and Apple were outstanding. Their English was impeccable and they were so fun to spend the day with. Tony was incredibly patient and helpful. I had never mountain bikes before and ended up breaking my bike chain. Tony was able to fix it and help explain everything to me. On the tour we saw elephants, buffaloes and even a few bats in the cave we visited in the beginning of our trip. The food was also outstanding. So flavorful and accommodating for our different dietary restrictions.

Due to COVID restrictions we ended up on the alternative route. I believe it was more challenging than the original. Gorgeous scenery, plenty of variety. The road was a times not well maintained, multiple crossing of a stream. Plenty of up and down. Best for more experienced and fit bike riders. The guides were very supportive and fun. The support truck was with us all the way.

A beautiful trip out of the chaos of the city, but suitable for people with a minimum of fitness. Pick-up directly at the hotel and direction Doi Suthep park .. after about 40 minutes of travel by car you go down and start a long walk (about 2 hours) that leads first to the top of the park's mountain (1675mslm) then to a point panoramic where you have a nice glimpse of the valley in front and finally to the remote village of the Hmong (remote yes but not indigenous, they have cars and electricity) where a good Thai lunch is consumed. Following a few moments of relaxation before the funniest part of the day, descent by mountain bike to Lake Huay Tung Tao (the descent is all along dirt and bumpy roads, so here you need a minimum of previous experience with the bike if you want to have fun , but in any case each one with its own rhythm would reach the end). The lake is really vast, there are bars and restaurants where you can nibble on something or you can take pictures near the huge
