Full description
After your 8:30 AM pick-up directly from your hotel in Chiang Mai, relax as you travel in comfort up to the beautiful Mae Ngat Valley. As you arrive at the start point for your day of adventure, the amazing Ban Den Temple, located at the entrance of the valley, will come into view. The richness and variety of the shrines and Bhuddas here is truly inspiring.  Heading further into the valley by bike, pass through open rice fields with local farmers tending to their crops using traditional farming techniques. The ride is leisurely and the pace is just right, so when it is time to cool off, make a stop at a local produce market and see what's on the menu. Ready for a change of pace the kayaking leg of your adventure can begin, heading by water into the Mae Taeng Jungle Reserve. With the favorable currants of the river, paddle gently down the river listening to the pleasant birdlife around you. Only accessible by boat, you will find peace in this serene, quiet setting. Look out for a variety of bird and wildlife as you head to the south end of the Mae Ngat Valley. From the river bank, in a beautiful plantation setting,  find a cozy restaurant with a well-deserved meal and a cold drink waiting for you.

What an amazing day out! It ended up being me, my gf and the tour guide, a private cycle along the rice fields followed by a 12 km paddle down the river. It was both relaxing and exhilarating all at once, but we were rewarded with a tasty Thai lunch at the end. It will be memory that we both will talk about for years and years. 100% recommend!

Brilliant day out. The tour guide Jane was very informative and kind. Beautiful cycle through rural scenery. Great local market, fantastic to have local guide to show us around. The views during the kayaking were spectacular. Great lunch. Lots of time to enjoy the whole day. Never felt rushed.

Eindeutig: Must do!
