We had the best time on the Derailed Trolley Tour. Our hosts (husband and wife) were great. He was extremely knowledgeable and she was extremely fun. Together they made for a wonderful afternoon. We saw many transportation related areas of Chattanooga and some other areas of interest thrown in just for fun. The train ride on the Tennessee Valley Railroad was authentic and very historical. By the end of the tour it felt like we had spent the afternoon with good friends. I highly, highly recommend this tour. It is well worth the cost and a great way to spend the day with some really fun people. When we come back to Chattanooga, we will most likely do this tour again.

Craig (our guide) was very knowledgeable about the history of Chattanooga. Started by boarding at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel and toured (in the motorized trolly) all around town. After about an hour drive around town, we headed to the Tennessee Railroad for a train ride and tour of the active work area. The cost of the train ride is included in the cost of this your. Highly recommend this tour as it provides insight into many historical sights and the facts about the various sights that are viewed along the way. A great value for the money and an easy tour for those who don’t want to do a lot of walking.
